Charles "Charlie" William Carr (birth registered July→September 1903[1] — death registered October→December 1959 (aged 55–56)[2]) birth registered in Sculcoates district, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s and 1930s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, England, and Lancashire (despite having been born in the East Riding of Yorkshire, he was playing his rugby in Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire), and at club level for Askam ARLFC, and Barrow, as a Wing, or Centre, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 3 or 4. His birth was registered in Sculcoates district, Hull,[1] his death was registered in Barrow-in-Furness district.[2]

Charlie Carr won caps for England while at Barrow in 1924 against Other Nationalities, in 1925 against Wales (2 matches), in 1926 against Wales, and Other Nationalities, in 1927 against Wales, in 1928 against Wales,[3] and won caps for Great Britain while at Barrow in 1924 against Australia (2 matches), and New Zealand (2 matches), in 1926-27 against New Zealand (3 matches).[4]

Charlie Carr is a Barrow Raiders Hall of Fame inductee.[6]
