Chunya District
Chunya District is one of the eight districts of the Mbeya Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by the Tabora Region, to the northeast by the Singida Region, to the east by Mbarali District, to the south by Mbeya Rural District and Mbozi District, and to the west by the Rukwa Region.
According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Chunya District was 206,615.[1]
Presently, the District Commissioner of the Chunya District is Frank Uhahula.[2]
