Defensive Runs Saved
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
Defensive Runs Saved (DRS) is a baseball statistic that measures the number of runs a player saved or cost their team on defense relative to an average player.[1][2] Any positive number is above average, and the best fielders typically fall into a range of 15–20 for a season.[3] The statistic was developed by Baseball Info Solutions.[4]
