Avatar 2 is an upcoming American epic science fiction film co-written, co-edited, co-produced and directed by James Cameron. It will be the sequel to 2009 blockbuster Avatar. It will star Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang.[1] The screenplay is written by James Cameron and Josh Friedman. Two more sequels are also scheduled to be released in 2018 and 2019 respectively. This film will be shot using solar power.[2] Currently, the film is scheduled to be released around Christmas 2017.[3]

Plot

The films involve events taking place in the seas and oceans of the fictional planet Pandora. Cameron has developed underwater motion capture technology for this purpose. Avatar 2 will explore the Na'vi culture more than Avatar.[4]
