Franco Amurri (born 12 September 1958) is an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter,[1] best known for directing such films as Da grande, which inspired the Tom Hanks film Big,[2] Monkey Trouble[3] and Flashback.[4]
His father was author and television writer Antonio Amurri. He has a daughter, Eva Amurri, with actress Susan Sarandon.[5]
