The Gamma Ethniki Cup was a football competition cup introduced the 2013–14 season. In this participate only the clubs of the new Football League 2 (Gamma Ethniki). The Gamma Ethniki Cup winner will compete at the end of the season with the winner of the Amateurs' Cup for Amateurs' Super Cup.

Structure

The need of organization emerged in 2013, after the abolition of professional Football League 2 and creation of amateur Gamma Ethniki with six groups. The Hellenic Football Federation has created a new competition, that amateur team of amateur Gamma Ethniki compete together in a cup competition more competitive than the cups of local associations. The participation of all teams of Gamma Ethniki is obligatory.

  • In first round (qualifying) of the competition teams of each group compete each other on singles matches (with overtime and penalties) until the emergence of the winner of the Group. The pairs are result of drawing.
  • In second round (quarterfinals) participate eight teams: six Cup Winners Groups and two of the six finalists, selected after drawing. The eight teams after the draw compete on singles knockout matches at the home ground of the group will favor the draw.
  • In third round (semifinals) four teams compete after drawing in double knockout matches (with Away goals rule) and the two winners advance to the final.
  • The final played on a neutral ground, which sets the Hellenic Football Federation. In case of a tie, there is overtime and penalties.
