Gorno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 70 km (43 mi) northeast of Milan and about 25 km (16 mi) northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,760 and an area of 9.9 km2 (3.8 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Gorno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Riso, Chignolo, Erdeno, Campello, and Sant'Antonio.
Gorno borders the following municipalities: Casnigo, Colzate, Oneta, Ponte Nossa, Premolo.
