Greatest Hits is a 2011 album by the band Everclear. It is the band's second album with label Cleopatra Records. The album was released shortly after the band's initial release with Cleopatra, Return to Santa Monica. The album consists of a mix of re-recorded Eveclear originals and covers of other bands' hits.
Difference from 'Return to Santa Monica'
Released just three months after Return to Santa Monica, Greatest Hits differs only slightly from the prior album. Return to Santa Monica was released both digitally and as a CD while Greatest Hits was only released digitally in MP3 format. Additionally, Greatest Hits lacks two of the covers from Return to Santa Monica, The Police's Every Breath You Take and the Steve Miller Band's The Joker.
