Career highlights

James Morrissey (born 4 October 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who represented Hawthorn in the Australian Football League (AFL) during the 1980s and 1990s.

Morrissey debuted for Hawthorn during the latter part of the 1984 season but did not play another senior game until 1987. He was a member of three Premiership sides in his nine seasons at the Hawks and was among Hawthorn's best in the 1991 Grand Final. He was nicknamed 'The Freak' by his teammates for his ability to kick amazing goals.
