Jennifer Lynn Eberhardt[1] (born c. 1965[2]) is a social psychologist and associate professor at Stanford University and a 2014 MacArthur fellow.[2][3] She studies the mechanisms and effects of racial biases in criminal justice. She was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2016.[4]

Education
Eberhardt received her B.A. from the University of Cincinnati in 1987,[5] an A.M. in 1990 and a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1993.[6]
Career
Improving race relations
Dr. Eberhardt is an associate professor of social psychology at Stanford University. She studies and teaches about the ways people judge and profile others based on race and inequality in the context of crime.[2][7][8] Some of this research has been criticized for showing evidence of publication bias.[9]
Personal life
Eberhardt is married to Ralph Richard Banks, a law professor at Stanford University; they have three sons.[10]
