Jewish guilt is a term used to identify the supposed guilt felt by some Jews. Currently, Jewish guilt is often a source of Jewish humor, but sometimes leads to self-hatred among some Jews.[1]

A common form of Jewish collective guilt is regarding the Israeli government's treatment of Palestinians since the creation of Israel in 1948.
