John Carpenter Hull was a U.S. Educator, Lawyer and politician who served as the Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1925 to 1929.[1][2]

Early life

Hull was born November 1, 1870 in Deering, Maine[3] (now a part of Portland, Maine).

Education

Hull received his A.B. from Bowdoin College in 1892, he attended the University of Michigan Department of Law.[4][1]

Career in education

Hull was the headmaster of Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg, Maine from 1892 to 1895,[3] and the principal of North Adams, Massachusetts High School from 1895 to 1902,[3] Milford, Massachusetts High School from 1902 to 1906,[3] and Leominster, Massachusetts High School from 1906 to 1911.[3]
