John Hales (also Hals or Halse; died 1490) was a medieval Bishop of Coventry and Lichfield.
Hales was Dean of Exeter between 1457 and 1459.[1]
Briefly during the restoration of King Henry VI of England in 1470 Hales was named Keeper of the Privy Seal, but he lost the office on the restoration of King Edward IV of England in 1471.[2]
Hales was nominated on 20 September 1459, and consecrated on 25 November 1459. He died on between 15 September and 30 September 1490.[3]
