Jose F. Lacaba

Jose Maria Flores Lacaba, Jr.,[1] better known as Jose F. Lacaba, is a Filipino poet, journalist, and screenwriter.[2] He was conferred the Aruna Vasudev Lifetime Achievement Award for Writing on Cinema during 10th Osian's Cinefan Festival held in New Delhi, India on 11 July 2008.[2]

He is currently the executive editor of Summit Media's YES! Magazine.

Sir Pete[2] (as he is often called) has written the screenplays of award winning feature films that have been shown at various international film festivals, including Cannes, Venice and Toronto.[3] His screenplay credits include Jaguar, This Is My Country, Fight for Us, Sister Stella L., Eskapo, Segurista, and Rizal in Dapitan.[2]
