History
An original construction permit for a low-power station on channel 33 was issued on November 21, 1988 to Richard Richards. The station was licensed on January 11, 1991. In 2001, the owner applied to increase the station's power, but the application was dismissed when the government of Mexico objected to the modifications.
The station's license was cancelled by the Federal Communications Commission on October 7, 2014 for failure to file a renewal application.
