Kalininsky District (Russian: Кали́нинский райо́н) is a district of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 504,641;[3] up from 469,409 recorded in the 2002 Census.[6]

Etymology

The district was named after Mikhail Kalinin (1875–1946), Russian Soviet Bolshevik revolutionary and politician.
