Kana Yume (由愛 可奈 Yume Kana?) is a Japanese gravure idol, actress and AV idol.

Life and career

Kana Yume debuted at 17, in August 2010, as gravure model with the image-video Birthday Burodoru Schoolgirl. Her second gravure video, Schoolgirl Kana Yume's gravure career, was filmed in October 2010 and released in January 2011.[2] Later she appeared in three more gravure videos and in a photo book between March and May 2011.

Furthermore, she appeared in several V-Cinema releases, like the Yasushi Koshizaka's fantasy film Idol Bomb, and successfully acted on stage.[3]

In July 2011, a few months after her eighteenth birthday, she entered the AV Industry, becoming an exclusive actress for the label Maxing.[3][4] In December of the same year she was nominated as Best New Actress for the 2012 Adult Broadcasting Awards.[5] Yume subsequently won that award[6] and at the 2014 Adult Broadcasting Awards won a second title in the On Demand Web category.[7]

In 2012, she starred in the Imaoka Shinji's vampire-themed romance film Setsuna's Hundred Days： Forbidden Love (百日のセツナ 禁断の恋 Hyakunichi no Setsuna: Kindan no koi?).[8][9]

When the major Japanese adult video distributor DMM held a poll of its customers in 2012 to choose the 100 all-time best AV actresses to celebrate the 30th anniversary of adult videos in Japan, Yume finished in 20th place in the balloting.[10]
