Kashirsky District (Russian: Каши́рский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwestern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,060 square kilometers (410 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Kashirskoye.[1] Population: 25,268 (2010 Census);[3] 27,106 (2002 Census);[6] 30,414 (1989 Census).[7] The population of Kashirskoye accounts for 17.2% of the district's total population.[3]
