The Leaside Towers are the tallest buildings in East York, Toronto, Canada. They are a twin set of Brutalist-style apartment towers, with one facing north-south, and another facing east-west. Located at 85 and 95 Thorncliffe Park Drive near Overlea, they are the biggest section of the "East York Skyline". Their structural height is 129 m (423 ft), and they both have 44 floors. Their construction ended in 1970.[1] Although their location is not in a prime residential area of Toronto, they provide panoramic views of Toronto's skyline and the Don Valley, which is why the architect chose to include large penthouses in the buildings.

The building has a fitness centre, an indoor swimming pool, a car wash and a convenience store.[2]

Publicity

In the late hours of November 30, 2014, a woman and two children were found deceased at 85 Thorncliffe Park Drive. This was later determined to be a triple-murder + suicide; the murderer committed suicide by jumping off a bridge onto the Don Valley Parkway.
