This is a list of family relations in professional wrestling. Since the creation of the National Wrestling Alliance in 1948, family members have been involved in all aspects of the industry. Although most connections are among wrestlers, there have been significant contributions from family members in managing, promoting, training and refereeing.
According to this list, 32 pairs of brothers (excluding kayfabe relationships) have wrestled together as a tag team; among them, one team has won the NWA World Tag Team Championship, five have won the WCW World Tag Team Championship and three have won the WWF/E World Tag Team Championship together. Brothers have also squared off against each other in singles competition, for example, Bret "The Hitman" Hart wrestled his brother Owen in a steel cage match for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam (1994).
Two-hundred and twenty-three children have followed in their father's footsteps with many competing in the same promotions. Fathers and sons have sometimes teamed together in tag team matches since the 1950s and, on occasion, have wrestled each other in singles matches.
World Wrestling Entertainment has seen the most familial connections with 85: fifteen brother pairs, twenty-six father–children combinations, fourteen grandfather–grandchildren combo, four uncle–nephew pair, two cousins, fifteen husband–wife combinations, five sets of brothers-in-law, and two combination of father-in-law and son-in-law.
Below is a list of family relations throughout professional wrestling since 1948. Names in bold have won a national or world heavyweight championship. Names in italics are members of a recognized hall of fame (e.g. NWA Wrestling Legends Hall of Heroes, Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame, Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame).
