This list of fictional pachyderms is a subsidiary to the List of fictional ungulates. Characters from various fictional works are organized by medium.

Outside strict biological classification,[lower-alpha 1] the term "pachyderm" is commonly used to describe elephants, rhinoceroses, and hippopotamuses; this list also includes extinct mammals such as woolly mammoths, mastodons, etc.

Hannibal African Elephant The Adventures of Nero, the album "Hannibal".[6] Marc Sleen Clo-Clo befriends a baby elephant, Hannibal (a reference to Hannibal Barca, the Carthagan general who crossed the Alps with his elephants). In the course of the story the little elephant is abducted to the circus. Nero and his friends are able to free him again, but then Hannibal suddenly disappears. Clo-Clo turns very ill as a result. Then, finally, Hannibal does return, but now he is a full grown elephant! He celebrates along with all the other characters.
