- Alice ( Free French Naval Forces): World War II: The corvette was torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic Ocean whilst escorting a convoy.[1]
- Frango ( Japan): World War II: The tanker was sunk.[2]
- Heinan Maru ( Japan): World War II: The cargo ship was torpedoed and damaged in the Philippine Sea by USS Gar ( United States Navy) sometime between 28 November 1942 and 19 January 1943. She was beached to prevent her sinking.[3]
- HMT Lochalsh ( Royal Navy): World War II: The naval trawler was reported to have been sunk.[4]
- Penelope Barker ( United States): World War II: The Liberty ship was torpedoed and sunk in the Barents Sea (Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.) by U-271 ( Kriegsmarine).[5]
- Richard Caswell ( United States): World War II: The Liberty ship was torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic Ocean off Brazil (Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.) by U-513 ( Kriegsmarine).[6]
- Shch-304 ( Soviet Navy): World War II: The Shchuka-class submarine struck a mine and sank in the Baltic Sea sometime after 29 October.[7]
- Trabajador ( United States Navy): The tugboat was sunk, probably by Japanese artillery, off Corregidor, the Philippines. Salvaged post-war and served under the name Resolute into the late 1970s.
