The Lower Sava Statistical Region (Slovene: Posavska statistična regija; until December 31, 2014 Spodnjeposavska statistična regija) is a statistical region in Slovenia. It is almost identical with the Lower Sava Valley. The largest town in the region is Krško. It is the second-smallest region in Slovenia, but it has very good traffic connections. Slovenia's only nuclear power plant is located in the region.
