Mamsko-Chuysky District (Russian: Ма́мско-Чу́йский райо́н) is an administrative district, one of the thirty-three in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia.[1] Municipally, it is incorporated as Mamsko-Chuysky Municipal District.[5] The area of the district is 43,396 square kilometers (16,755 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Mama.[2] Population: 5,501 (2010 Census);[6] 7,990 (2002 Census);[9] 18,895 (1989 Census).[10] The population of Mama accounts for 66.0% of the district's total population.[6]
