Mandeville High School is a Division 5A public high school, in Mandeville, Louisiana. It is located in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana and is part of the St. Tammany Parish Public Schools system. Mandeville is a suburban community within thirty miles commuting distance to the metropolitan area of New Orleans, LA. Mandeville High School is a co-ed, public high school enrolling approximately 1,700 students in grades 9-12. Approximately 73% of their graduates continue their education, 68% to four-year colleges or universities and 2% to two-year colleges and other post-secondary institutions. There are more than one hundred twenty members on the professional staff, and of those 120, 58 of them have a master's degree or Higher.
MHS was named a Blue Ribbon school during the 2001 - 2002 school year.[1]
