Manhattan Day School, often called MDS, is a Modern Orthodox Jewish yeshiva elementary school located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.[1][2] It was founded in 1943.[3] The school has an early childhood department in addition to serving students grades K-8. It also offers a summer camp for children ages 3 – 7, and a science camp for first, second, and third grade students. The school has afterschool and enrichment programs, including softball, karate, ballet, dance, art, E2K,[4] and the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth.
