Marnie Jaffe (née Greenholz) is an American singer/bassist. She was an early member of New York noise-rock band Live Skull, whom she played with until 1988, when she left the group.[1] (She also appeared with fellow Live Skull member Mark C. on the cassette Tellus #11 All Guitars! curated by Live Skull guitarist Tom Paine; the band collectively had appeared on Tellus #1 and #8.) [2] She later moved to Cincinnati and, in 1996, formed indie-pop group the Fairmount Girls, but departed before the release of their debut album, Eleven Minutes to Anywhere, in 1999.[3] She currently resides in Brooklyn with her daughter and teaches art in the NYC school system.
