Milton Keynes Kings
Milton Keynes Kings were an Ice Hockey team based in Milton Keynes from 1990 to 1996 in the British Hockey League (BHL), and from 1998 to 2002 in the English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPIHL).[1] Following a dispute with the Planet Ice Arena in Milton Keynes, the team relocated to Solihull, where they became Solihull MK Kings for a while.[2] The team was wound up in May 2003.[3]
The Solihull franchise was taken by the (new) Solihull Barons in 1996.[4]
Milton Keynes Lightning took over a semi-professional league spot at Planet Ice soon after.
