Established in 1992 as Airline Network the company was privately owned until December 2008 when it was taken over by the Thomas Cook Group. In February 2014 the company was acquired by Dubai-based air service provider dnata.[1] Netflights.com is part of Gold Medal Travel Group which employs over 450 people.
