Patricio Loustau (born 1975) is an Argentine football referee. He refereed at 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.[1]
On September 6, 2013, after having finished the Peru - Uruguay match (which he referred) in the Estadio Nacional of Perú for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification (CONMEBOL), he had to be escorted out of the stadium, due to the anger he sparked from the Peruvian fans for his suspicious calls in the match that led uruguay to defeat Peru 1-2.[2] Peruvian press claimed he was following Conmebol instructions, especially from the newly appointed Conmebol President Eugenio Figueredo, an Uruguayan national.
