Poor Things is an upcoming surrealist[2] science fiction film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos from a screenplay by Tony McNamara, based on the 1992 novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray. Emma Stone leads an ensemble cast that includes Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Jerrod Carmichael, Christopher Abbott, Margaret Qualley, and Kathryn Hunter.
Poor Things is scheduled to be theatrically released on September 8, 2023, by Searchlight Pictures.[3]
