Instructions
1 : Look at the article. Confirm that the subject is connected with Kent and not already in the list.
2 : Add the biography to the above table, adding additional rows if required.
3 : Save this page.
4 : Click the numbered link to create the article.
5 : Check the copyright of the images. Most biographies have a fair use picture which under current Wiki policy cannot be included in a Portal. Public domain images may be added.
5a : Select one picture from the article if possible [[Image:PICTURE.JPG|center|250px|CAPTION]] Replace PICTURE.JPG with the picture name, and CAPTION with a brief description.
6 : Add the text. This should be the subjects name, date of birth, date of death if applicable, why they are famous and their connection with Kent
7 Add the footer link {{More about|Full article name|Short article name}}. Replace Full article with the article (wikilink) name, the short article name is the one the appears and is optional.
8 : Add the category [[Category:WikiProject Kent Featured biography|99]] Replace 99 with the picture number.
9 : Save this page.
10 : Edit the main portal page. Portal:Kent
11 : Locate {{Random portal component with nominate|max=3|header=Selected biography|footer=More Selected biographies...|subpage=Selected biography}}. Replace max=3 with max =??, the current number of pictures.
