Prince Antoine of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (French: Antoine Marie Joseph Alphonse Adam et omnes sancti;[1][2] 20 January 1929 –[2]) is a member of the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies which ruled the defunct Kingdom of the Two Sicilies until 1860 .

Family

Antoine was the only child of Prince Gabriel of the Two Sicilies by his first wife Princess Malgorzata Izabella Czartoryska.[1][2] Antoine is a male-line great-grandson of King Ferdinand II of the Two Sicilies and an elder half-brother of Prince Casimir of the Two Sicilies.[2]

Marriage

Prince Antoine married Duchess Elisabeth of Württemberg civilly on 18 July 1958 and religiously the next day at her parents' palace in Altshausen, Württemberg, Germany. She is the third child and second daughter of Duke Philipp Albrecht (heir of the kings of Wurttemberg, who were deposed in 1918) by his second wife Archduchess Rosa of Austria.[1][2] Their four children are:[1]

  • Prince François Philipp Maria Joseph Gabriel of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (born 20 June 1960 in Ravensburg). On 2 June 2000 he married at Geneva, Switzerland, Countess Alexandra Maria Drothea Nadine Cecilia of Schönborn-Wiesentheid, member of a mediatised dynasty (born 2 June 1967 in Zürich), daughter of the 1964 first marriage of Count Franz Clemens of Schönborn-Wiesentheid (a banker, born in Breslau in 1939, and resident of New York City since his second divorce, from Princess Felizitas Reuss, in 1992) with Princess Tatjana Konstantinovna Gorchakov (born in New York 1940, residing Pully, Switzerland where she resumed her maiden name following divorce in 1974).[3] Alexandra had been living in Lausanne since her 1995 divorce (marriage annulled religiously 17 January 2000) from Pedro de Mello des Vasconcellos e Souza, son of the Marques de Santa-Iria, whom she had married civilly in Pully in 1989.[1][3] François's marriage was attended by his immediate family, but by neither of his Bourbon cousins who are rival pretenders to the Sicilian throne, Infante Carlos, Duke of Calabria and Prince Ferdinand, Duke of Castro, nor by their heirs. Their children are:[1]
  • Prince Antoine Gaetano Nicolas Istvan Marie of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (born 6 June 2003 in Geneva)
  • Princess Dorothée Maria Amalia Tatiana Hélène of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (born 10 May 2005 in Zürich)
  • Princess Maria Carolina Johanna Rosa Cecilia of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (born 18 July 1962 in Friedrichshafen), who married Andreas Baumbach (born 30 April 1963 in Tübingen) on 6 May 1988 in Tübingen.
  • Prince Gennaro Maria Pio Casimir of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (born 27 January 1966 in Ravensburg)
  • Princess Maria Annunziata Urraca Margarita Elisabeth of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (born 18 February 1973 in Friedrichshafen) who married Count Carl Fredrik Creutz (born 11 November 1971) on 2 August 2003 at St. Henry's Cathedral in Helsinki.
