Short pink line shows an outline of the Racetrack playa area amounting to 6.6 square kilometers. Grand stand is an igneous complex inside the Racetrack playa, covering an area of 0.014 square kilometers.

The Racetrack mountain area is an area from which all precipitation drains towards the Racetrack Playa.[1]
