Rami Al-Husseini, better known as Rami Jaber (born August 4, 1981) is a Palestinian rally driver,[1] actor and film producer.[2] As a driver, Rami is a three time Moldovan Rally Champion (2003–2005)[citation needed], Middle East Rally Champion in Group A7 (2010)[citation needed], and winner of the Saudi Arabian (2010)[citation needed] and Qatari rallies (2010)[disputed ]. His rally driving team, Rami Racing, is headquartered in Italy[verification needed]. As an actor, Rami's filmography includes several video productions related or ancillary to international motor sports including notably the short film Two Hours to Vegas (2015).[3] Rami also serves as CEO of RNG Media,[4] a marketing firm that specializes in rally driving and motor sports.

Career

Rami Jaber rose to professional prominence as a rally driver in the early 2000s when he won the Moldovan Rally Driving Championship three years in a row from 2003 to 2005. In 2007 Rami left the world of motor sports for undisclosed "family reasons", but he returned successfully in 2010 to win the Middle East championship in group A7 and the national rallies in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Shortly following his successes in 2010, Rami founded his own rally driving team in Italy, Rami Racing. Rami Racing is managed and marketed by the motor sports marketing firm, RNG Media, which Rami also established in 2011 and where he currently serves as CEO.

In addition to marketing Rami Racing, RNG Media is the named producer of Rami's notable short film, Two Hours to Vegas. Two Hours to Vegas was shot in Los Angeles, CA and Las Vegas, NV during the Spring of 2015, with Rami starring as the protagonist. Rami is currently in pre-production on his next short action film, Fate.[5] Fate will star Rami alongside American actor Wentworth Miller and is due for limited release in 2016. Parts of Fate are slated to be shot in Los Angeles, CA and other parts in Rami's native Oulu, Finland.

Personal life

Rami was born of Palestinian descent in the city of Jericho, Palestine. He currently lives in Oulu, Finland,[6] and drives rally under Finnish citizenship[according to whom?]. He has two sons and three daughters.
