Rodong-2 (spelled Nodong-2 in South Korea) has been claimed to be a single stage, mobile liquid propellant medium range ballistic missile developed by North Korea.
A 2012 paper surveying North Korean missiles published by the RAND Corporation makes no mention of any development or deployment of the Rodong-2, casting doubt that it was ever more than a paper design at most.[1] Joseph S Bermudez of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies reports that Rodong-2 is an alternative name for the Taepodong-1.[2]
The MissileThreat.com website reported the existence of this missile from 2004 to 2006.[3][4]
Was tested in military drills 2014 .
