Senegal competed in the Winter Olympic Games for the first time at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. Senegal was represented at the Sarajevo Games by Lamine Guèye, the first Black African alpine skier to compete at the Olympics.[1]
