Smoking Gun is a 1986 song by Robert Cray. It made #2 on the Mainstream Rock charts,[1] and the next year made #22 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1] In addition, for this song Cray was nominated for the 1987 MTV Video Music Awards for Best New Artist in a Video.[3]
