Paul Sterling DeJong (born August 2, 1993) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
DeJong attended Illinois State University where he played college baseball for the Redbirds. After his sophomore year in 2014, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 38th round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft. He did not sign with the Pirates and returned to Illinois State.[1][2] He was then drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2015 MLB Draft.[3]
DeJong signed with the Cardinals and made his professional debut with the Johnson City Cardinals. After 10 games he was promoted to the Peoria Chiefs.[4]

Juan Pablo González (born April 5, 1990) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
González played in the Colorado Rockies organization from 2007 to 2013. Prior to 2014 he signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2015 he began the season with the Tulsa Drillers and was later promoted to the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers. He was selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game.[6][7] Between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, he appeared in 31 games with a 2.18 ERA.[8] Prior to the 2016 season he signed with the St. Louis Cardinals.

José Martínez (born July 25, 1988) is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
Martínez played in the Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves organizations between 2006 and 2014.[9] He also spent time with the Rockford Aviators of the Frontier League, an independent league, in 2014. Prior to 2015 season, he signed with the Kansas City Royals. While playing for the Omaha Storm Chasers that year, Martínez broke the Pacific Coast League (PCL) record with a .384 batting average.[10][11] He also led the PCL in on-base percentage (OBP, .461) and was an All-Star.[12] The Royals added him 40-man roster on November 6, 2015, and designated him for assignment on May 18, 2016, before trading him to the Cardinals one week later for cash.[13]
He is a son of former infielder Carlos Martínez, who played seven seasons in MLB for the Cleveland Indians, White Sox and California Angels.[10]

Andrew John Morales (born January 16, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
Morales played college baseball at Rio Hondo College from 2011 to 2012 before transferring to UC Irvine and playing there from 2013 to 2014.[14][15] In 2014 he was named an All-American and won the Senior CLASS Award for baseball.[16] During his college career he went 42–3 with a 2.00 earned run average (ERA) and 361 strikeouts.
Morales was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the second round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[17] He signed with the Cardinals and made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Cardinals.[18] He was later promoted to the Palm Beach Cardinals. Morales started 2015 with the Double-A Springfield Cardinals.

Michael Livingston Ohlman (born December 14, 1990) is an American professional baseball catcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
Ohlman was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 11th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft out of Lakewood Ranch High School in Bradenton, Florida.[19][20] During Spring Training 2012 he was involved in a serious car crash which injured his shoulder.[21][22] He was added to the 40-man roster on November 20, 2013.[23] He was designated for assignment on January 27, 2015 to make room on the 40-man roster for Travis Snider.[24]
On February 3, the Orioles announced they had traded to Ohlman to the Cardinals for cash considerations.[25]

Sierra signed with the St. Louis Cardinals as an international free agent in 2012. He made his professional debut in 2013 with the Dominican Summer League Cardinals. In 2014 he played for the Gulf Coast Cardinals. He was named the Cardinals Minor League Player of the Year after hitting .386 with two home runs and a .939 OPS.[26][27] Prior to the 2016 season, Baseball America ranked him as the sixth-best prospect in the Cardinals' system.[28]

Edmundo Sosa (born March 6, 1996) is a Panamanian professional baseball shortstop in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
Sosa signed with the St. Louis Cardinals as an international free agent in July 2012.[29] He made his professional debut in 2013 with the Dominican Summer League Cardinals. He played for the Gulf Coast Cardinals and State College Spikes in 2014 and the Johnson City Cardinals.[30] In 2016, Sosa played for the Panama national baseball team in the 2017 World Baseball Classic qualifiers.

Jacob Clinton Wilson (born November 14, 1990) is an American professional baseball second baseman and third baseman in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
Wilson played college baseball at the University of Memphis for the Tigers from 2009 to 2012. As a senior he was the Conference USA Player of the Year after hitting .320 with 17 home runs and a 1.009 OPS.[33][34]
Wilson was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 10th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.[35] He signed with the Cardinals and made his professional debut with the Batavia Muckdogs. In 2013, he played for the Peoria Chiefs and Palm Beach Cardinals.[36] He started 2014 with Springfield and was then promoted to the Double-A Springfield Cardinals.[37] His season came to an end after 66 games due to a knee injury.[38]

Wisdom played college baseball at Saint Mary's College of California. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.[39] He made his professional debut with the Batavia Muckdogs. In 2013, Wisdom played with the Peoria Chiefs and Palm Beach Cardinals. He played 2014 with the Double-A Springfield Cardinals and returned there in 2015.[40][41]

Jake R. Woodford (born October 28, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
Woodford was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals 39th overall in the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.[42][43] He made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Cardinals.
Woodford was high school teammates with Kyle Tucker who was also selected in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft.[44][45]

Justin Wayne Wright (born August 18, 1989) is an American baseball relief pitcher currently in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He is currently with the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds. He is 5' 9" tall, considered short for a professional pitcher.[46][47]
He was born in Fairfax, Virginia and attended Forest Park High School before going to Virginia Tech, where he played from 2008 to 2010. He posted a won-loss record of 19-7 while there. In the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft, the Cardinals drafted Wright in the 47th round. He began his professional career that year.
He did not allow a run and struck out 10 batters in 7.2 innings with the Batavia Muckdogs in 2010 and in 2011, he was 5-1 with five saves and a 1.03 ERA in 32 appearances between three teams. In 52.1 innings, he allowed 27 hits and had 70 strikeouts and earned Mid-Season All-Star honors and a MiLB.com Organization All-Star selection. He played for the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League that year, as well. In 2012, Wright was 0-3 with a 4.45 ERA in 50 games, though he averaged 9.5 strikeouts per nine innings. In 2013, he was 1-1 with a 5.34 mark in 50 games, but averaged 9.8 Ks per nine innings. He had his first taste of Triple-A in 2014, going 4-0 with a 6.65 ERA in 16 games for Memphis; he also played for the Springfield Cardinals that year and was 6-1 with a 3.43 ERA in 47 games as a whole. In 2015, he played for Springfield and Memphis and went 2-2 with a 3.02 ERA in 48 games.
He also pitched in the Cape Cod League in 2009 (for the Harwich Mariners) and 2010 (Hyannis Harbor Hawks).
