Step Up is an American dance drama multi-media franchise created by Duane Adler. The franchise includes of five films, a spin-off film and a television series. The series has received generally mixed reviews from critics. The series has grossed a collective total of $650 million.

Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) receives the opportunity of a lifetime after vandalizing a performing arts school, gaining him the chance to earn a scholarship and dance with an up-and-coming dancer, Nora Clark (Jenna Dewan).

Step Up: Year of the Dance (2019)

Step Up: Year of the Dance is a spin-off film and was directed by Ron Yuan. Youth from different social classes in Beijing come together to form China's best dance crew and learn what it really means to be family.

Step Up: High Water (2018–2019)

A television series titled Step Up: High Water was released on January 31, 2018 on YouTube Red, now YouTube Premium.[1] On May 22, 2018, it was announced that YouTube had renewed the series for a second season.[2] The second season premiered on March 20, 2019.[3]

On August 16, 2019, the series was cancelled after two seasons.[4]
