Supply-Chain Council (SCC) is an independent non-profit organization. As the cross-industry standard for supply chain management, SCC has developed and endorsed the Supply-Chain Operations Reference (SCOR)-model, a process reference model for supply chain management.

The SCC was organized in 1996 by Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath (PRTM) and AMR Research, and initially included 69 voluntary member companies. SCC now has closer to 1,000 corporate members world-wide and has established international chapters in North America, Europe, Greater China, Japan, Australia/New Zealand, South East Asia, Brazil and Southern Africa. Development of additional chapters in India and South America are underway. SCC membership consists primarily practitioners representing a broad cross section of industries, including manufacturers, services, distributors, and retailers.

In April 2014, it was announced that the Supply-Chain Council would merge with APICS. [1]

This merger was completed on 5 August 2014.
