Tadamasa Kodaira

Tadamasa Kodaira (小平 忠正 Kodaira Tadamasa?, born March 18, 1942) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Iwamizawa, Hokkaidō and graduate of Keio University, he was elected for the first time in 1990. Prior to going into politics, he ran a ranch.
In the first cabinet reshuffle of Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on October 1, 2012 he was appointed Chairman of the National Public Safety Commission, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs and Food Safety, taking over from Jin Matsubara.[1]
