Taliouine is a town in Taroudant Province, Souss-Massa-Drâa, Morocco. According to the 2004 census it has a population of 5,844.[1]
Taliouine is famous with a spice called Saffron and it is one of the main exporters of this flower worldwide. The town celebrates Le Festival International de Safran every year in Winter (usually November), the season in when Saffron springs.
