Teddington Baptist Church is an evangelical Baptist church in Teddington in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Its mission statement is "Bringing Christ to our community and our community to Christ."
The first members of the church met in a rented room in 1877. The church was officially established in 1881.[1]
The premises were remodelled in 2004 with a new glass atrium and front area. Since the remodelling, the church has hosted a wider range of community activities.
Rev. Richard Littledale is the minister of the church and works with the College of Preachers. He is the author of books about preaching including Stale Bread (October 2007), The Preacher's A-Z ( April 2008), Who Needs Words? (October 2011) and The Littlest Star (December 2011). Every month his column Views on the News.[2] appears on the church's website. He has contributed to the BBC Radio 2 series "Pause for Thought".[3]
