Leicester Nirvana F.C. is an English football club based in Hamilton, near Leicester in Leicestershire. The senior team was Established in 2008 by the merger of Thurnby Rangers and Leicester Nirvana (which originally led to the team being called Thurnby Nirvana), the club are currently members of the United Counties Football League and play at Gleneagles Avenue, the home of Highfield Rangers Football Club. For the start of the 2015/16 season the club reverted to the original name of Leicester Nirvana FC.

History
Thurnby Rangers
Thurnby Rangers joined Division One of the Leicestershire Senior League in 1997.[1] They won the division in their first season, and finished as runners-up the following year. In 2000–01 they won the division again, and this time were promoted to the Premier Division. In 2004–05 they won the Premier Division, but were not promoted to the Midland Alliance.
Leicester Nirvana
Leicester Nirvana were established in 1982, having grown out of the Red Star youth group. They initially played at Victoria Park and joined the Mutual League. In 1989 they joined Division One of the Central Midlands League, finishing as runners-up in their first season. The following season they resigned mid-season, but rejoined the league for the 1991–92 season.[2] They left the league at the end of the season, and in 1994 decided to become a youth club only.[3]
Merged club
After merging in 2008 the club took Rangers' place in the Premier Division of the Leicestershire Senior League, although Leicester Nirvana continued as a youth club. In 2009–10 they finished third and were promoted to the East Midlands Counties League. They entered the FA Cup for the first time in 2011–12.[4]
