- 1272 - Leo I of Galicia relocates Galicia-Volhynia capital to Lviv from Halych (approximate date).[2]
- 1340 - Town taken by forces of Casimir III of Poland.[2]
- 1356 - City granted Magdeburg rights.[1]
- 1362 - High Castle rebuilt.
- 1365 - Roman Catholic Diocese of Lwow established.[3]
