Travis are an alternative rock band from Glasgow, Scotland, comprising Fran Healy (lead vocals, guitar, piano, banjo), Dougie Payne (bass guitar, backing vocals), Andy Dunlop (lead guitar, banjo, keyboards, backing vocals) and Neil Primrose (drums, percussion). Travis have twice been awarded British album of the year at the annual BRIT Awards, and are often credited with having paved the way for bands such as Coldplay, Keane and Snow Patrol. They have released seven studio albums, beginning with their debut, Good Feeling, in 1997. Their latest album, Where You Stand, was released in August 2013, to generally positive reviews.

- Travis very briefly appeared as extras in the film Son of Rambow.[28] The band cameoed as Sports, Science, History and English teachers similar to those in the "Driftwood" music video.
- "Sing" appeared on the NBC comedy television series The Office, first in 2005 and again in 2010.
- "My Eyes" was featured in the opening of the seventh episode of Season 7 of Smallville.
