Tyler James Sturdevant (born December 20, 1985) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Career
Sturdevant played college baseball at New Mexico State University. He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 27th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft. Sturdevant signed with the Tampa Bay Rays before the 2016 season.[1] He was called up to the majors for the first time on May 22, 2016.[2]
