Tyrell Williams (born February 12, 1992) is an American football wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed in 2015 as an undrafted free agent.

Before being signed, Williams attracted national attention for saving a puppy from a burning building in Eugene, Oregon one day while visiting family. Williams relieved the key to the city the following week for his heroism. The San Diego Union Tribune wrote that, "the riddle is what to do with impressive rookie Tyrell Williams. If the Chargers target him for the practice squad, they would risk losing him to a waiver claim. I wouldn't take the risk. Williams looks like a potential NFL starter."[1]
