History
In 1876, the first competitive Water polo game was played in Australia in Sydney. It was introduced by William Wilson, a new immigrant, who had recently arrived from Scotland.[1][2][3][4]
Competitions
The Australian National Water Polo League is the national Water polo competition in Australia. It is organised by Australian Water Polo.

The Australia men's national water polo team represents Australia at the FINA Water Polo World Cup.
